DAY 1: Nairobi

Met on arrival by our customer care representative, briefed on safari before departing to a city hotel to relax.

DAYS 2 / 3: Amboseli

From Kenya?s vibrant capital, Nairobi, we travel south, turning east before crossing into Tanzania heading for Amboseli National Park.The following day we enjoy some fantastic game viewing across the grassy plains and in the shadow of neighbouring snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro.

DAY 4, Lake Nakuru

We journey through the Great Rift Valley with its scenic escarpments and valleys to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is an important sanctuary for rhino and leopard and its lake attracts thousands of flamingos and pelicans. There is also lion, Colobus monkey, hippo and the rare Rothschild?s giraffe to be found here.

DAYS 5 – 6, Masai Mara

We drive to Kenya?s most famous game reserve, the Masai Mara, exploring what is most people?s picture of ?quintessential Africa? – beautiful rolling savannah, picturesque Acacias and huge populations of game, big cats and birdlife.

DAY 7, Nairobi

We head from the Mara back to Nairobi to end our safari in the mid/late afternoon.
