DAY 1: NAIROBI / CAIRO

egypt21Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by our representative, then escorted to your hotel.

After lunch, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Then proceed to Kardassa the largest market for textile shopping offering cotton and linen products. Return to the hotel.

DAY 2: CAIRO

After breakfast depart on a morning visit to the Old Cairo to visit The hanging church (AL MUALLAQA) – was built in the 4th century over southern gate of the fortress of Babylon .Dedicated to Virgin Mary, its treasures includes a 14 the century wall painting of the Nativity, Church of St.Sergius (ABU SERGA) – A 5th century basilica built over crypt where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed during their flight into Egypt, Church of St.Mercurius (ABU SEFEIN) – boasts a unique collection of Coptic art including 175 icons that depict scenes from the old and new testaments, wall paintings, etching and stained glass. and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the worlds largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar. This will be followed by a visit to a leather factory for the shopping of all leather articles. Later transfer to the Train Station to board your Sleeper train to Aswan.

You are accommodation in air-conditioned first class sleeper rooms which
includes your dinner and breakfast. Dinner on Board.

DAY 3: ASWAN / KOM OMBO / EDFU

Your touring starts with a visit to the High Dam, the. You will get a view of Kitchener?s Island botanical garden and the Aga Khan Mausoleum by felucca. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu.

Overnight: Nile Cruise.

DAY 4: EDFU / ESNA / LUXOR

egypt24After breakfast, travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon god,(237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the Second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue to Luxor.

Overnight: Nile Cruise.

DAY 5: LUXOR

Visit the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of
Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon visit Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks.

Overnight: Nile Cruise.

DAY 6: LUXOR / RED SEA RIVIERA

Breakfast in the cruise. Disembark from the cruise. Transfer to Hurghada by private van. Arrive Hurghada and check-in to your Red Sea resort. Rest of day at leisure to enjoy the many facilities at the resort.
